The skill system will allow players to create unique characters based on benefits of the amount of points devoted to a particular skill. Players recieve one skill point upon gaining a level and they can choose to "spend" it however they like. Rare items located within the game or given out as gifts may also allow players to get skill points to distribute. The following are the skills being added and a description.
Mercantile
This is the closest thing to stealing you can find, and at high levels it might as well be. Smooth talk your way into buying low and selling high and never pay peasant prices for your items again.
Critical Strike
A good warrior always knows how best to strike his foe to maximize damage. Your chance to inflict more pain than usual to your enemy grows as you become more adept in this skill.
Dodging
Pretend that you are in the matrix and just lay back and wiggle your arms around to avoid being struck by attacks.
Swordsmanship
Here we find the cookie-cutter warrior skill of choice but with good reason. You just can't go wrong with a sword in your hand.
Hand To Hand
Without a weapon? Need to pack a little extra "punch"? Points in this skill will help increase your attack damage when no weapon is equipped.
